Regions of Sol

Each part of Sol has its own physical, industrial, historical, and economic identity. That identity shapes what resources appear, what stations specialize in, what hazards matter, and what opportunities make sense there.

Farther does not automatically mean higher level.Safe infrastructure and dangerous specialist sites can coexist in the same broad region. What matters is the local problem you are trying to solve.
Earth & LunaDense infrastructure, early industry, established trade, and surprising pockets of deeper content.
Mars & inner routesDifferent logistics, access, resource mixes, and organizations begin to matter more.
Belt & CeresVolatiles, industry, exchange activity, recovery, and route economics become more prominent.
Outer Sol & Deep SolJupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and the deep outer system add gas/ice economies, severe specialist environments, long-baseline science, historical sites, organizations, and longer physical logistics.

A region is a bundle of interacting systems.

Persistent locations carry authored activities, loot/resource tables, security, scan difficulty, environment, services, lore, and travel relationships. Those local definitions are what make two parts of Sol play differently even when they support the same profession.
