Exploration
Explore known regions, collect location-bound survey data, correlate what you learn, and turn that information into new places worth operating.
What the career actually does.
What this looks like.
Exploration starts directly from the local actions at an explorable region. There is no survey-target picker; your current Scanning Capability changes how reliably broad observations become specialized survey data.

Exploration is regional intelligence.
Survey data keeps its source-region identity. Processing preserves that region and creates Location Data for a compatible site family; the temporary site does not begin until that marker is activated in its matching region.
Better scanning changes what you classify reliably.
The region determines which lead classes can appear.
Exploration can produce general data plus authored specialized classes such as mineral, wreck, volatile, gas, signal, rare-metal, or anomaly evidence. Your scanning build changes classification reliability; it does not let you manually select a class the region does not produce.
